Recently, I had the opportunity to preview the new Civil War drama, Union Bound in preparation for interviewing its producer, Michael B. Davis of Uptone Pictures on my radio show Stand For Truth Radio. The movie is set to be released on April 22. The film follows the adventures of Hoover and Ryan who escape from a prisoner of war camp in Florence, South Carolina and with the help of a black slave played by actor Tank Jones, the two Union soldiers are able to make it back to Union lines. Actor Tank Jones plays Jim Young, a slave who audiences will immediately love because of his compassion and willingness to help two strangers get back to the North by risking his own life. Saudi Arabia has made the first move in what may turn out to be a game of chess with the United States government. It is now up to the U.S. to make the next move. Recently, the Saudis have threatened to sell off approximately $750 billion in U.S. assets, including Treasury securities, if the U.S. Congress passes a bipartisan bill that will allow U.S. citizens who were injured or lost family members on 9/11 to file lawsuits against foreign countries, including Saudi Arabia. Sadly, it’s been almost 15 years and the question over suing foreign governments has yet to be decided. Some believe that Saudi Arabia may have a connection to what happened on 9/11 since 15 of the 19 hijackers and Osama bin Laden were from Saudi Arabia. Each year schools spend millions on anti-bullying campaigns. Notable speakers are brought in to tell kids why bullying must stop and what they should do if they see or experience bullying. And each year, anti-bullying campaigns for the most part don’t work, according to a 2013 status report on “Bullying in U.S. Schools.” Kids are still being bullied and even teachers are being bullied while the issue of how to stop bullying remains unresolved. Recently a 16-year-old female student at Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington, Delaware died after being assaulted by other students inside a school bathroom. “The anti-bullying thing that schools put on, they don’t really listen to ‘em. It honestly has to take something tragic like this to happen for them to actually open up their eyes,” a ninth grader at the high school said about the teen’s death. More recently, a student with special needs was filmed being beaten by another student at Santa Clarita High School. During the video, several students watched the fight and did nothing to stop it while a few can be heard laughing at what was occurring. Before GOP Presumptive Presidential Nominee Donald Trump even has time to bask in the glory of his new title, more than 50 veterans rallied together recently to demand he “show them the money” he raised for veterans earlier this year. As you may recall, Trump boycotted the seventh GOP debate in January and instead held a fundraiser for veterans during which he supposedly raised approximately $6 million. In March when it was reported that Trump had donated less than half of the money promised veterans, his campaign spokeswoman wrote in an email, “If the media spent half as much time highlighting the work of these groups and how our veterans have been so mistreated, rather than trying to disparage Mr. Trump’s generosity for a totally unsolicited gesture for which he had no obligation, we would all be better for it.” Now, a couple of months later, believing there is still approximately $3 million that has not been released, 50 veterans are asking Trump to show respect for the country’s veterans and release the remainder of the funds. A Memphis, Tennessee Art teacher was allegedly attacked from behind by a 9th grade student when a teacher would not allow him to leave class and go into the hallway. According to the report, the student was expelled after the attack was caught on on video. It is alleged that he also “struck the teacher multiple ties in the face with a closed fist.” I hope this student will also be charged with the crime he committed. Apparently, authorities are looking into it. Teachers and parents need to insist that this type of behavior will be dealt with each and every time by expulsion and charges with the authorities. The concept of “white privilege” is one of the most creative schemes they’ve ever dreamed up and pulled out of their bag of tricks in an effort to divide the races. The definition of white privilege or white skin privilege varies depending upon who is defining it or the purpose for image source: manrepeller.com which they are using it. However, for the sake of argument, white privilege “is a term for societal privileges that benefit white people beyond what is commonly experienced by non-white people under the same social, political, or economic circumstances. These privileges are unearned and are distributed based on values of the dominant group.” In my opinion, it is a terminology that was recently created by the progressive left as a tool to brand whites as a scapegoat for many of the problems of non-white races.
